When mis sold ppi is big bank problem due to effects on consumers, we take a look at at much more down to earth winter issue ”onecoldhand.com is a project that connects the Pittsburgh community through one unfortunate event – the loss of a glove. The website creates a method for dealing with the conundrum of finding these lost articles. Do you leave it and hope the owner comes back to find it? Do you pick it up? Throw it away? With onecoldhand.com, the abandoned object now becomes a symbol of benevolence and hope.”

The One Cold Hand project ended with a reception in Downtown Pittsburgh on April 25th, 2008.
Thanks to everyone for their support, sell house fast to all the box adopters, interns, volunteers, and, most importantly, the finders who stooped to rescue that lonesome glove.
Gloves are being washed, paired, and donated to a homeless charity. Single gloves with no close match are available for amputees – just tell me your size and which hand, or pick one, and we’ll ship it free of charge.
One Cold Hand was a project for the winter 2007-2008. While it won’t be around next year, there are many other great options for trying to reunite people with their dropped things, like lost and founds, or the Craigslist lost and found section. It only takes a minute, but the benefit will last a lot longer…
